Reservation and Costs

House by the Pool offers self-catering family holidays in a popular destination in sunny south Costa Blanca.  Spacious, air conditioned house with everything needed for your stay.  We provide, or arrange for, extras that may be required by our guests.  If your stay coincides with a special event or occassion, eg. birthday, wedding anniversay or other celebration, please let us know.

The costs shown are per week and per night for full use of the house, pools and gardens for up to 6 guests, for 7 or 8 guests we charge an extra £10 per person.  You may stay for full or part weeks (min charge 4 nights except July and August when min charge is usually 7 nights).

All bed linen, house towels, wifi, electricity (inc. air conditioning) and water, welcome pack and personal checkin are included in the rental.

A charge of 100 euros is payable to the keyholder on arrival for the cleaning of the house and washing of bedding and house towels on your departure.  An extra €10 for 7 or 8 guests is charged.

Standard checkin time is 4pm and checkout is 10am but we try and be flexible and accommodating regarding arrival and departure times when possible and arrival/departure can be any day of the week subject to availability.   Our keyholders charge a fee of €20 for arrivals and departures in the hours between 9pm and 11pm.  Due to the requirement that all checkins are attended, checkin is not usually possible between 11pm and 7am, so please book flights that ensure arrival time at the house is NOT between 11pm and 7am.

Payment can be made in Sterling or Euros.  Please contact us for price if paying in Euros.

A deposit of £200.00 is required to confirm and secure your booking. Should you choose not to proceed with the holiday before full payment is due the deposit is not returnable. 

Full payment of the amount stated below is required 8 weeks before your holiday is due to commence. The deposit is returned to you within 7 days of the end of your holiday once we have confirmation from the keyholder that all is in order.  

Cancellations after the full payment of the holiday has been paid: We suggest that to allow for unexpected cancellation of your holiday that you take out independent insurance. Refund of any rental paid is subject to being able to re-let the property for the appropriate dates and an amount for administration will also be deducted. In the event of cancellation after the rental has been paid the deposit will still be refunded. 
Failure to supply legally required personal ID information under Spanish Law BEFORE the commencement of the stay will be viewed as a cancellation by the renter.  All guests, by law, must be registered as staying at the property.

Minimum charge is for 4 nights except in July and August when minimum charge is usually for 7 nights.  
Maximum stay under current regional restrictions for all new bookings is 10 nights.

Extras

Airport Transfers

Details of airport transfers from both Alicante and Corvera airports at reasonable rates can be provided if you do not have a hire car.  
Price varies depending on size of group.  Appropriate age child seats are from the transfer company.

Baby & Child Equipment

We have a travel cot with bedding and a highchair available for guests.  Additional baby and child equipment can be hired from a local agency and delivered to the house ready for your use on arrival. Please ask for details.

Essentials Pack

An 'essentials' pack of items is included in the rental which contains tea, coffee, sugar, milk, wine, fizzy drink, biscuits, small toiletries and toilet rolls.  Additional items are added if you are arriving very late and special requests can also be accommodated (fee may apply to latter).

We endeavour to provide a comfortable, clean and enjoyable house for your family holiday.  Everything you need for your self-catering stay is provided - just bring your suitcases and relax.

Home from Home

House by the Pool was purchased as, and is still used as, our own second home and therefore is equipped as a fully operational family home.  

Assurance

We are a Licensed as a holiday rental.  The house has to meet (and indeed exceeds) certain standards as part of the Licensing process.  As a legal let we have a requirement to obtain full details of all persons staying at the house.  For age 14 yrs and over: name, date of birth, contact details (address and telephone or email) and passport details; for under 14 yrs: name, date of birth and relationship to lead guest.  The Spanish Ministry for the Interior require this information to be entered onto their secure web site.
