House by the Pool

House By The Pool is in Playa Flamenca in the Orihuela Costa, south Costa Blanca, Spain. Approximately 45 minutes drive south of Alicante Airport and 40 minutes drive from Murcia airport at Corvera.

The terraces have seating, tables and sun shade for enjoying al fresco dining or family barbecue, or enjoy an evening glass of wine in the outside lounge on the roof terrace.

The location means that you are not dependant upon having a hire car as there are plenty of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. The local beaches are under a mile away.

In the evening you can stroll to one of the local bars or restaurants. On Saturdays there is a very large street market. La Zenia Boulevard shopping complex, boasting 150 shops, bars, restaurants, entertainment and bowling alley, is under 15 minutes walk from the house.

All rooms have air conditioning, ceiling fans and heating making it suitable for your summer holiday, winter sun holiday or even a long weekend break.

Wifi and all utilities are included in the rental, along with bedding and house towels.  Beach/pool towels can be hired if you prefer to travel light.

The house is fully double glazed and has security grills on all windows and lockable rejas on all doors.

If you do hire a car, parking is off road on the private driveway next to the house.

Location

There are many tourist attractions in the area to suit all tastes. Water parks, go-karting, museums, horse riding, golf, paddle courts, crazy/mini golf, zoo, palm gardens, craft centre in old cave houses, theme park, water sports, diving, the large 'parque natural', salt lakes, many beaches, markets, bowling, cinema. There may even be a local fiesta at the time of your visit. There are historic towns to visit, traditional villages, beautiful coves, lovely countryside and even nearby mountains. Just down the road is the Mar Menor, famous for its mud baths and water sports.

You will find details of many attractions at the house. The local Saturday street market is almost on your doorstep.

Or you can 'shop till you drop' at the huge La Zenia Boulevard centre, less than 15 minutes walk from the house.

Every year 2 of the the Playa Flamenca beaches have been granted the Blue Flag by the European Union for their excellent state of services, hygiene and conservation. Some services are available during the main summer season only.

Also along this stretch of coast there is a succession of sandy coves backing onto low cliffs which are very popular with tourists and residents alike due to the crystal clear waters and the golden sand. In summer the little beach bars, "chiringuitos", serve tapas, snacks and cold drinks and are a good place to watch the world go by.

This stretch of coast has two sports marinas, one at Cabo Roig and the other in Campoamor where nautical sports can be practiced.

The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed. The outdoor space is really well and the layout of the house. Would definitely stay at the house again.

The house was a pleasure to stay in, with large and spacious bedrooms, so plenty of space for our belongings. We did not have a car but everything was within walking distance and there was plenty to do. All round a very enjoyable stay and I would highly recommend it to friends and family
